SpainDMCs Awards

These awards recognize all the hard work and effort put in by companies and individuals involved in the Meetings and Incentive Industry and are split into three categories:

• DISTINGUISHED SUPPLIER - in recognition of a company or an individual in the supplier network who has offered outstanding levels of support, cooperation and teamwork when working with DMCs.
• AWARD OF EXCELLENCE - in recognition of the professional excellence of an individual in promoting Spain as a destination for MICE business and for their support for the work of DMCs.
• THE MELON AWARD echoing the similarities between the fruit and many administrative/governmental departments i.e. they are often unnecessarily large, apparently firm on the outside but generally soft on the inside and, once chosen or elected, quickly go rotten. With this award, DMCs are able to express their dissatisfaction with people, companies and official bodies elected to supposedly protect the interests of the MICE sector, but whose performance (through action or omission) has had the opposite effect.
