Any companies that fulfil the requirements set forth in the Statutes of the Spanish Association of DMCs and are interested in becoming full members should:
- Submit a written request to the chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors stating that they agree to comply with the Association’s Statutes, attaching a photocopy of the company’s relevant legal documentation (deeds of incorporation with any change in ownership details, if applicable, indicating the corporate purpose; Travel Agency registration documentation and Fiscal Identification Number (CIF)).
- Submit a summary of the DMC activities undertaken by the company during the two years prior to the date of the application.
The admission of new members should be approved by the Board of Directors based on the documentation submitted and any available references. Afterwards, it must be ratified at the next scheduled General Assembly, although provisional acceptance applies once approved by the Board of Directors. In any event, admission is not considered to be fully completed until the relevant membership fees have been paid.
